Binibining Pilipinas Angelica Lopez transformed into a real-life Barbie doll under the hands of Filipino creative geniuses who assembled her look for the 2024 Miss International pageant’s Halloween party held in Tokyo, Japan.
Lopez was a Filipino Barbie doll in her powder-pink silk column gown created by Daniel Manila, who was tapped by the Palaweña lass and her stylist Vhee Co for the feminine frock.
Article continues after this advertisementManila’s masterpiece featured voluminous white ruffles over Lopez’s décolletage and shoulders, the same accent found on the matching opera gloves in the same pink fabric as the gown.

Co chose a beaded butterfly clutch from Bling&Co to complete the look.
The stylist has been assembling Lopez’s looks during her Bb. Pilipinas reign, and is also responsible for all of her styling for the Miss International pageant, including her sleek yet flirty departure look and her showstopping red terno ensemble for her arrival, both designed by Manila.

Lopez is gunning for the Philippines’ seventh victory in Miss International history, following Gemma Cruz (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melanie Marquez (1979), Precious Lara Quigaman (2005), Bea Rose Santiago (2013) and Kylie Verzosa (2016).
