Instagram is always keeping us on our toes!

And in places like the Philippines, Instagram has rolled out a new feature: group stories, giving you an even closer way to connect with your best friends.
So, what exactly are group stories?
Think of them like your regular Stories, but with a more private touch. Similar to the close friends feature, group stories let you share content with a select group of people – but this time, all group members can see your posts, even if they don’t follow you.
ADVERTISEMENTUnlike close friends, group members can invite others, so who can see your story may change as people join or leave.
This new feature is great for keeping things intimate, whether you’re planning events with a close-knit group, sharing behind-the-scenes moments with a project team, or simply connecting with your best friends.
As group members join or leave, who sees your stories will change, adding flexibility to how you interact with others.
ADVERTISEMENTOne of the best parts of group stories? You still have control over your content.
While all group members can comment on what you share by default, you have the power to turn off comments for your stories if you’d prefer. It’s entirely up to you.
Your stories, your rules!
One of Instagram’s latest major updates is automatically assigning users aged 13 to 17 to a Teen Account.
These accounts are specifically designed for users under 18, featuring enhanced privacy settings to provide a safer online environment for teenagers.
With this change, Instagram emphasizes the importance of ensuring its younger users have a more secure experience as they navigate the platform.
