As the air quality index deteriotes againvvjl, the Supreme Court of India has raised its concerns regarding air pollution. Calling pollution a "pan-India problem", the Central government has been asked to share a list of the most polluted cities across the country.
Furthermore, Centre's air quality panel for Delhi-NCR has invoked stage three of the Graded Response Action PLan (GRAP III) after sharp rise in pollution levels.

GRAP 3 Enforced Across Delhi-NCRCommission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has enforced GRAP III Across the national capital region as AQI levels once again worsen.
As per the order issued, schools and colleges in Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar to shift to online classes classes for students up to Class V.

"Give a list of other major cities with the problem of air pollution and weather for those cities some machinery can be created. We will expand this issue pan India. We should not give a wrong signal that sitting in Supreme Court we are only dealing with air pollution in Delhi," the top court said.
